Apperley Ever After Luxury Bridal Artistry

These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Apperley Ever After Luxury Bridal Artistry (“we”, “our”, “the artist”) and you (“the client”). By booking any service, you agree to the terms below.
1. Booking & Payments
1.1 Securing Your Wedding Date
A non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required to secure your date.
Your booking is not confirmed until the fee is paid.
1.2 Payment Schedule

Remaining balance is due 6 weeks before the wedding.

Trial appointments must be paid for at the trial.
1.3 Payment Methods
Payments can be made by:

Bank transfer
-
Card machine
2. Trials
2.1 Purpose of Trials
Trials allow us to design and perfect your chosen makeup and/or hair look before the wedding.
2.2 If You Choose Not to Proceed
If you decide not to continue after your trial, the booking fee remains non-refundable.
2.3 Additional Trials
Additional trials can be booked at the standard trial price.
3. Wedding Day Requirements
3.1 Working Space
You must provide a safe, clean area with:

Good natural lighting
-
Power sockets
-
A chair and table or surface
3.2 Punctuality
Please ensure all bridal party members arrive on time for their appointment slot.
3.3 Delays
If delays occur due to lateness, we cannot guarantee completion of all services.
4. Travel & Additional Fees
4.1 Travel Costs
Travel is charged at £0.50 per mile after 20 miles from Churchdown, Gloucestershire.
Parking fees, tolls, or accommodation (for early starts) will be added when required.
4.2 Early Start Fees
Start times before 06:00 may incur an early morning surcharge.
4.3 Additional Artists
Large bookings may require an assistant artist.
Assistant fees will be included in your quote.
5. Cancellations & Amendments
5.1 Client Cancellation
If you cancel your booking:

Booking fee is non-refundable

Cancellations within 12 weeks of the wedding require full payment of the remaining balance

Cancellations before 12 weeks forfeit only the booking fee
5.2 Artist Cancellation
In the unlikely event we must cancel due to illness/emergency:

We will attempt to provide a suitable replacement

If no replacement is available, all payments (including booking fee) will be refunded
No additional compensation will be issued.
5.3 Reducing Services
Services removed within 12 weeks of the wedding may still be chargeable at the original quantity booked.
5.4 Increasing Services
You may request additional services if time allows; extra charges will apply.
6. Health, Safety & Allergies
6.1 Patch Testing
Patch testing may be recommended for certain products (e.g., lashes).
Declining a patch test is done at your own risk.
6.2 Client Responsibility
You must disclose all allergies, sensitivities, skin conditions, or medical issues that may impact treatments.
6.3 Liability for Allergic Reactions
We are not liable for reactions where:

Full information was not provided

A patch test was refused or missed
-
A known allergy was not disclosed
6.4 Hygiene
We maintain high hygiene standards and use professional-grade, sanitised equipment.
7. Photography, Portfolio & Social Media
7.1 Use of Images
With your consent, images taken during trials or on the wedding day may be used for:

Portfolio
-
Website
-
Social media
-
Marketing materials
7.2 Opting Out
You may opt out at any time by notifying us in writing.
8. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

Arrive on time for appointments or ensure your bridal party does

Provide accurate and honest information regarding health + allergies

Read all pre-appointment and aftercare instructions
-
Provide a safe working space
-
Communicate any concerns promptly
9. Behaviour & Conduct
We reserve the right to refuse service in situations where:

There is abusive, inappropriate, or unsafe behaviour

Conditions prevent safe working
In such cases, no refund will be issued.
10. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for cancellations or delays due to events outside our control, including:

Extreme weather
-
Accidents
-
Illness
-
Traffic delays
-
Power outages
-
Government restrictions
-
Emergencies or natural disasters
We will work with you to find a reasonable solution.
11. Liability
We are insured for public liability and professional indemnity.
We are not liable for:

Delays caused by the client or bridal party
-
Damage to makeup/hair once we leave
-
Allergic reactions (unless negligence is proven)
-
Issues arising from ignoring aftercare instructions
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by UK law.
Any disputes will be handled under UK legal jurisdiction.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By paying the booking fee, you confirm that you:

Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions

Agree to all terms

Accept that the booking fee is non-refundable

Take responsibility for informing your bridal party where relevant
